Silicone potting compound SilGel 612 A/B
SilGel 612 A/B from Wacker is one of the most popular products for electronics available in our shop. It is a two-component, transparent, neutral potting compound with the consistency of a soft, non-flowing silicone gel. The compound is distinguished by its pronounced inherent tack and therefore excellent adhesion to various substrates without a primer. Thanks to its very low viscosity and low shrinkage on curing, the potting compound is ideal for encapsulating delicate, stress-sensitive electronics such as pressure sensors. It is commonly used to encapsulate and protect optoelectronic, electronic and power electronic circuits, e.g. photovoltaic cells. The product retains a high degree of softness and elasticity after curing, making it excellent for protecting systems subject to vibration or overload, e.g. in transportation electronics. The flexibility of the cured gel also allows local removal and subsequent refilling for repair purposes.
Electronics adhesive ELASTOSIL N9111
Manufactured by the European leader in speciality chemicals, silicone products from Wacker Chemie are widely used in many industries, including electronics. We particularly recommend the alkoxy-cure, one-part silicone ELASTOSIL N9111 (RTV-1) available in our shop. Silicone rubber N911 is used as an adhesive and sealant for electronics, industrial electrotechnics, lighting installations and other special applications. It is distinguished by its excellent adhesion to most substrates, even without a primer, making it versatile. The product is flame retardant (UL94 V-0) and non-corrosive. The silicone has a paste-like consistency for easy application. It is available in black, grey and white.
Electronics adhesive ELASTOSIL N2199
ELASTOSIL N2199 is a semi-transparent, acid- and solvent-free, non-corrosive, nonslumping paste which, when exposed to atmospheric moisture, forms a permanently flexible silicone rubber with excellent mechanical properties. It is most often used for bonding heavier electronic elements to PCBs, as well as for local sealing of areas where we limit the influence of varnishes and conformal coatings. The adhesive has excellent adhesion to most substrates and is also excellent for bonding materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion.
Silicone potting compound ELASTOSIL N2010
Skład Techniczny offers a wide range of silicones from the Wacker ELASTOSIL line, including high-quality silicone potting compounds. ELASTOSIL N2010 is a neutral-curing (alkoxy), translucent, self-levelling, one-component liquid silicone rubber (RTV-1) with low viscosity and thixotropic properties. It cures at room temperature to form a translucent, flexible coating that can be easily removed locally for component repair or replacement. N2010 potting compound is used for thin-film, local coating of electronic circuits, providing protection against moisture, rapid temperature changes and corrosive vapours. It is also excellent for bonding and sealing electronic and electrical circuits, especially those exposed to vibration.
Silicone potting compound ELASTOSIL N2034
In addition to ELASTOSIL N2010, we also offer a similar product - the less liquid, flame retardant (meets UL 94 V-0) and non-translucent ELASTOSIL N2034 in black. Like N2010, it is mainly used as a thin film conformal (protective) coating for PCBs and sensitive electronic components. The resulting coating thanks to ELASTOSIL N2034 is thicker than in the case of standard electro-insulating varnishes, so in addition to the increased voltage class and moisture protection, it also provides basic mechanical protection for the protected boards and circuits.
